A pitcher of Accolay potters: a piece that is expressed as much in a decorative and USUEL register! The pitcher is made of sandstone and carries a speckled enamel, typical of Acolay productions. His body is slightly ringed.
The pitcher is signed with 2 “has glued”, it is in very good condition.
8-17cm in diameter, 15cm high.
In the middle of the 20th century, Accolay was the setting for a real ceramic revolution. Four former students of Alexandre Kostanda settled in the small village of the Yonne in the mid -1940s, many potters will follow their example. For forty years, the production of Accolay potters will be impressive, original and daring. This piece has an attribution mark,
