The Abstract print features an original artwork by Jean Dubuffet created in 1962 titled " Propitious Moment ".

Jean Dubuffet ( 1901 - 1985 ) the French born Modernist painter and sculptor. His idealistic approach to aesthetics embraced so called " Low Art " and eschewed traditional standards of beauty in favor of what he believed to be a more authentic and humanistic approach to image making. Best known for the art movement " Art Brut " ad for the collection of art works " Collection de L' Art Brut " that this movement spawned. His unorthodox materials and techniques garnered the artworks as some of the most important Modernist artworks of The 20th Century.

The rare out of print offset lithograph calendar print measures 12 1/4" W X 13 1/4" H, with an image area of 10 1/4" W X 12 3/4" H. There is a different artwork on the reverse back side by another artist. It is in excellent " like new " vintage condition with light signs of handling. it has never been framed. It is now being offered here for an excellent price. See less
