When we received this table it had a 3” gash from what appeared to be a skill saw. i decided to take the table down from 42” to 40.5” to remove the blemish. I then did a complete restoration and finished the table with 5 coats of commercial grade water based polyurethane in a semi gloss sheen. This table too is solid maple and 1.25” thick unlike most modern table. The water base will keep the maple light and from yellowing over time, unlike most mid century modern pieces from similar time period. Table will be shipped flat with legs removed. legs are easily installed with a single wrench or pair of pliers. See less
