The company's origins date back to the family of Vincenzo Gazzabin of glassmakers based in Murano in the 16th century. Although the Gazzabin family was prolific for centuries, the decline of the Venetian Republic in the 19th century would disrupt the glassblowing industry in the region. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
