The frame is made of beveled mahogany decorated with gilt bronze stars, a motif popular throughout the Empire period that can be shared with Americana and other historic styles. Dating to circa 1860, this mirror is truly striking, as the original double pane mirror glass has exquisite signs of aging with foxing and crystallization.
