A Stunning 19th Century Antique Anglo-Indian Porcupine Quill and Ebony Basket, Large Circa 1880. The ebony quill basket was made in Ceylon, The Colonial name for Sri Lanka.
A large Anglo-Indian porcupine quill and ebony basket with bone dot and red etched bone center medallion.
Measures 10 3/8" Wide x 8 1/4"Deep x 3 1/2" Tall at top and tapers down to 7 1/4" x 4 3/4" Base
Excellent Condition. Shows some wear appropriate to age. A piece of one quill broken off.
