Antique Danish Oak Chest of Drawers, ca. 1800.
Amazing Empire oak dresser made by Danish master carpenter 1790-1810. Solid oak body and drawer fronts. Ebonized trim and concealed top drawer. Four drawers with original locks and key. Top drawer has a hidden spring latch. Visible wooden dowels and pegs.
This commode has a very elegant and rustic appearance that will also compliment a modern interior design.
Good vintage condition with beautiful patina consistent with age and use.
It have had some minor repairs over the years. Like the black trim on the bottom drawer has been fastened with screws and repairs to the drawer bottoms.
