It was produced by … Read more This striking rectangular coffee table was designed by Jacques Chambron and Robert Guillerme in the 1960s. It was produced by their company Votre Maison in Northern France. This particular model was named 'Clément' and is one of the more rare coffee table designs by the French duo. The frame is made of solid French oak wood. The rectangular, elongated top with rounded corners and covered with eight ceramic tiles on both sides. The striking base is formed by four legs with rounded feet, placed at angle on stretchers meeting towards the centre of the table. This creates a striking, geometric line which adds to the architectural appearance of the table. The original sixteen ceramic tiles with hand painted abstract pink and blue decorations in relief. By design, the tiles are placed loose on the table, therefore allowing to vary with the pattern. If desired, it's also possible to replace the tiles by any other tiles. The piece has been restored, respecting and preserving the original patina of the oak wood. Overall in very good condition. I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
