Rare white volcanic glazed plate by noted studio potter Toshiko Takaezu. The plate or tile is handerchief shaped with the four corners raised. The lava glaze has a number of blue green spots randomly placed. The piece measures 11.9" L x 11.75" W x 1.75" high. It is in excellent condition. The bottom is marked with the opposed TT cypher she used.
