This is part of Chairish’s Costume Jewelry assortment.
Not your average abalone! Dangling high quality hoop earrings crafted of fine sterling silver with beautiful abalone shell inlay featuring birds and flowers. Marked Mexico TF32 .925. Mark indicates they were made in Taxco, likely made by German Fuentes Flores (of the Margot de Taxco related Fuentes family) according to "The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks" (Third Edition) by Bille Hougart. Measure about 3 inches long and just over 2.75 inches wide. Minor scratching to silver consistent with vintage sterling silver - excellent otherwise with no wear to the abalone inlay. An excellent addition to a Mexican silver jewelry collection.
