A striking and comfortable 1970s Danish lounge chair designed by Sigurd Ressell for Trygg Møbler, known as the “Superstar” model.
This iconic piece features a sculptural frame in dark-stained wood and its original deep brown leather upholstery, beautifully aged with a rich patina. The tufted cushions and cylindrical armrests provide luxurious comfort, while the floating seat construction and star-shaped swivel base showcase classic Scandinavian craftsmanship.
A refined example of mid-century Danish design—both elegant and functional, and a great collectible piece. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
