This is a fabulous, 19th-century, Etruscan style, 14K gold pendant. The pendant has a center cabochon turquoise shaped like an elongated oval stone, surrounded by an outer band of open filigree scrolled vines. The pendant is surmounted with an acanthus leaf splayed over an oval bezel with bead and leaf decoration. The outer band has a slight rose hue to the gold. A swivel bale and a horizontal cross pin allow it to be worn as a brooch or pendant. The condition is excellent and it tests 14K. There are no jeweler or assay marks. Circa: 1880.
