This beautiful framed piece of art is all the more special because it is handmade. The piece, depicting a field of daises, is crewel embroidery, the wool yarn adding a wonderful dimensional aspect.
The finished piece, circa late 1960's early 1970's, is custommed framed behind glass in wood stained and antiqued to compliment the olive green of the tones of the artwork. This also means that the embroidery has been protected from damage and is in excellent shape with its vibrant colors still intact.
