This sewing box, or "haribako," has three drawers and an open top divided into small compartments with a handle for easy carrying and moving.
Originally, these pieces of furniture served as sewing boxes, where "hari" refers to sewing needles and "bako" to box or chest.
Today, this small piece of furniture is also useful for storing writing materials, art supplies, jewelry, and more.
The piece is of high quality and made from beautifully grained wood.
