Beautiful and special hucha made in France around 1890 in the context of the Grand Tour. Made of ebonized wood, cylindrical profile with gallons at the base and in the upper part. Enriched with decoration of brass floral garlands, in the envelope or lid and in the front, where there is a hole for the lock (without key). These brass ornaments present in their central field two scenes of Italian architecture, the work of offset. In the upper part is the opening for the piggy bank itself. He has a small hair in the front, unimportant as a whole. These pieces bought as a memory in Europe by European and American travelers constitute a style called "The Grand Tour". This tradition went back to the 18th century, where the most cultured students were traveling through different European cities to acquire knowledge and culture. Medals, currencies and stamps would be exhibited ostentatiously in cabinets and libraries of those travelers; and served to show the social and aesthetic customs of the moment.
