Robert Swain Gifford Normandy Cattle By C. Troyon Chine Collé, Signed (1887). Chine collé print of a Constant Troyon painting entitled Normandy Cattle etched by Robert Swain Gifford. Both Troyon and Gifford’s signature are in the plate at the bottom of the image. Gifford signed in the bottom right corner in pencil.
Provenance: From the A.T. Stewart Collection. Striken from a cancelled plate in 1887. Limited series of 500 on heavyweight paper. Pulled from the limited edition catalogue.
