Pair of European souvenir restaurant change dishes / individual ashtrays from the Hotel Westbury, Brussels Belgium. White ground, crisp blue graphics, and pencil thin gilt edge -- all factors that combine to create a classic MCM aesthetic.
The hotel, an international style masterpiece with its glass & steel structure, demi-lune shaped base, and hotel room tower set perpendicular to the base was demolished in 2003. Mark en verso: La Porcelaine de Baudour, Cerabel Belgium.
Items are in excellent viintage condition with no cracks, no chips, no crazing.
