a vintage 1980s artisan hand carved solid wood puzzle box
this sculptural free form organic shaped live edge wood box with a beautiful wood grain and is interesting from every angle. it shows high quality American craftmanship.
the live edge maple wood top lifts open to two lined felt compartments with a smaller removable compartment.
the box is made of maple wood with a beautiful blond wood tone.
it has brown suede leather lined on the bottom as protection.
not signed but attributed to artist : Richard Rothbard
