Designed in the classic … Read more Handmade, unique and gorgeous pair of 1960's shabbat candle holders made in Israel by Eilon Mosaics. Designed in the classic brutalist style this pair consists of small natural stone tiles arranged in a sweeping curve from base up through top of column framed by hammered copper with curved copper base and top. Copper has been treated with black antiquing so subtle black areas throughout copper are intended to be this way. The top plates with attached cylinders where candles are placed are slightly loose so use care when placing and removing candles. The pieces are handmade so there are just a few tiles that have very small spots of the black antiquing from copper on them which adds to their natural brutalist appeal. Both candle holders retain their original stickers of authenticity. High quality pieces which could be passed down through generations. Appropriate for conversation piece display and special occasion use. Sure to catch attention wherever displayed.
