This large Chinese cloisonné charger dates to the 1920s and measures 20 1/4 inches in diameter and 2 3/4 inches high. The front is decorated with layered floral motifs and a ruyi-style border, centered by an orange-red chrysanthemum set against a dense field of stylized petals.
The reverse is finished in Jingtai blue with cloisonné wirework forming repeating geometric patterns. The charger is in excellent vintage condition with normal age-related wear. There is some loss to the gilt along the rim, visible in the close-up photos, but no chips, cracks, dents, or repairs.
