Publisher: Maruya Jimpachi. Censored by Aratame. The geisha Otomi, the main character of a Sewamono play, a love drama in which different men fight for the favor of the geisha. In this scene, Otomi calmly watches as the handsome Yosaburo threatens her rich protector Tazaemon with a kitchen knife. Excellent impression, fresh in color, with blind printing (nose bone) and visible wood grain, lightly creased, stitching holes at left margin. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
