Ludwig … Read more Impressive glass wall lights from the renowned manufacturer MZ Leuchten (Müller & Zimmer) based on a design by Dipl.-Ing. Ludwig Beilharz from the early 1970s. The glass bodies were produced in the Sudeten glassworks in Kaufbeuren.

The design of the lamp body in solid pearl glass gives this design an imposing appearance. The basic shape is simple and cubic. The glass body has a concave indentation on the front, in the centre of which is the socket with the light source. On the back of the luminaire, small protrusions are incorporated into the glass to ensure clearance from the wall and an installation space for the cabling. The luminaires can be used as stand-alone units or combined to create complex light sculptures thanks to their modularity. The qualities of the design are particularly emphasised by the use of head-mirrored light sources.
The lights are in very good condition with signs of wear. Sockets are new original spare parts. This piece has an attribution mark,
