Raol Dufy ( 1877 - 1953 ) was a French Fauvist painter who developed a colorful decorative style that became fashionable for designs of ceramics and textiles. He was also a draftsman, printmaker, scenic designer, book illustrator, furniture designer, and planner of public spaces. The artworks of Dufy are included in the collections of many of the worlds most prestigious museums.

The vintage lithograph print was printed in japan in 1970. It features an original artwork created by Dufy in 1923 titled " The Mediterranean ". the lithograph print is a page from an authentic vintage artists publication. The lithograph plate is attached to the page with a process called " tipping " where it is attached by hand on 3 corners. This print is suitable for framing.

The lithograph print measures 8" W X 9 1/2" H, on a page that is 9" W X 12 1/4" H. There is unrelated text on the reverse back side of the page that refers to a different artwork image. It is in excellent vintage Condition with very light signs of handling. It has never been framed. It is now being offered here for an excellent price. See less
