Features a soft pink glaze with gold detailing and an elegant curved form, originally designed as a console or centerpiece tray. A versatile piece that works beautifully on a coffee table, credenza, or entry console.

The Kashani line was produced under the Kenwood name, a division of Shawnee Potteries, in the 1950s. Kashani, named after a form of Persian pottery, was a semi-porcelain ceramic with a high-fired glaze with a decorative finish in a complimentary color. The interior was glazed with one of the colors, finishing out the look. This color combination was Pink on the inside and cream with gold splatters on the outside.

This is Kenwood's Kashani 14" crescent planter which can be used in a variety of ways - console bowl, centerpiece, fruit bowl. Filled or unfilled, it's a stunning piece in any room with the gold decoration and interior glaze adding that bit of lux to your room decor.

On the bottom the makers mark is etched "Kenwood" and "USA 3009". See less
