The box has been recently treated with our favorite wood wax. The elastic has been recently replaced. The velvet interior has signs of expected wear. The teak case has a couple blemishes but overall is a sturdy piece! We would personally pick it up by the whole box and not just the handle - it is a heavy set. See photos less
