Late 1930s/early 1940s fashion study featuring an advertisement for Lucien Lelong's Cream Cologne. Text on fashion study reads: "Lucien Lelong's Cream Cologne is a creamy white liquid, completely new, unlike any cologne you have ever seen before! Cream cologne contains an emollient base which is beneficial to the skin...soothing, softening, flattering. As the Cream Cologne vanishes, its heavenly fragrance remains...a tender bewitching part of you".
Provenance: Cornelia Steckl-Jurin, Founder of the Fashion Department at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Archivally matted to 12" x 16".
