A large abstract waterscape print of the original 1990’s artwork “Out of the Blue” by artist Doug Danz. This double-matted and framed offset lithograph fine art reproduction print is by Tiger Mountain Press. This piece has a beautiful luminosity like just before sunrise at the beach with gradient tones of inky blue and shadowy mauve. It is framed in a brushed-gold, modern style metal frame and is protected behind clear plexiglass.
American Artist Doug Danz (b. 1939- ) “is a watercolorist and silkscreen printmaker whose abstract images are culled from recognizable aspects of the American landscape but move further towards concern with an abstract two-dimensionality. His silkscreen prints have a flat, emblematic presence.”
