Chimera lamp is an original lamp realized in the 1970s by vico magistretti (1920 - 2006). Steel and art glass. Mint conditions. Floor lamp. Total dimensions: 180 x 20 x 20 cm. The weight is indicative. Vico magistretti (1920 - 2006) has been one of the most influent italian design masters, exploring thorugh his work all the aspects of living: from the architecture of buildings to all kinds of interior, to furniture and products that have become legendary. A representative of an italian approach envisioning an evolution of principles of modern, he would find his place among the so-called third generation of modern masters after completing his education through hard times, the years of late fascist italy and world war ii. An architect’s son and grandson, ludovico magistretti was born in milan in 1920, and during his architecture studies at politecnico di milano he had to quit italy and flee to switzerland in 1943 to avoid deportation: while studying in lausanne, he met ernesto nathan rogers — the founder of bbpr studio, an influent figure that would shape the italian postwar architectural debate — who soon became one of his main educational references. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,

Orders where Free Local Pickup or Seller Managed Local Delivery were selected:
- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller
- Once you have taken possession of the item, all sales are final

Cancellations

- Chairish Express In-Home deliveries are currently only offered for international cross-border shipments.
- The item will be delivered to your home and placed in the desired room. The delivery service includes unpacking, inspecting, and removing packaging materials; and does not include installation or setting up the item.
- Shipping charges start at $999 and vary based on the size, weight, packaging, and/or the value of the item.
- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.
