Man Lying is a Pencil Drawing realized by Georges Desvallieres (1861-1950). Good condition on a grey paper, included a cream colored cardboard passpartout (32.5x50 cm). Monogrammed on the lower right corner. George Desvallières (1861–1950) was a French painter. A native of Paris, Desvallières was a great-grandson of academician Gabriel-Marie Legouvé, and received a religious upbringing. Works by Desvallières may be found in the Musée d'Orsay and the Musée du Louvre. He died in Paris in 1950. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
