His vision of the "doing" is very similar to the one of the Paleolithic era painters who made their graffiti in the darkest part of his cave not for an aesthetic purpose but to satisfy an internal psychic need aimed at relieve fears and anxieties.
D’Orta has an idea of the artistic material as something that is losing or on the contrary that regains its potential by forcing himself to stop in a waiting area.
Realized in 2008, the painting is part of the collection "Il grande inverno" ("The great winter") by the author himself.
