This " Andy Warhol A Retrospective " rare first edition vintage 1989 Museum of Modern Art exhibition iconic collector's softcover art book is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your library collection.
The monograph art book features an expansive survey of the artworks of the great American Pop Art master Andy Warhol ( 1928 - 1987 ). Also in the book is compelling text from various contributors about the artworks and Warhol's life, including essays by Kynaston Mc Shine, Robert Rosenblum, Benjamin H.D. Buchloh & Marco Livingstone.
The rare 1st edition out of print book was published by MOMA, Bulfinch Press, Little Brown & Co. in 1989 to accompany the major retrospective exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art New York. Edited by Kynaston Mc Shine, printed in The United States.
The large format iconic volume measures 9 1/2" W X 11" H X 1" D, with 480 pages, 460 illustration plates ( 277 in color ) and 176 reference illustrations. This is by far the most comprehensive and complete single volume published about the artist Andy Warhol.
