Offered is a carved and lathed Teak wood bread carving tray for French baguettes or Cuban "pan" bread. It is paired here with a mid 20th Century Fleetwood Designs stainless steel serrated bread slicing knife that has a Teak wood handle.
Made in Thailand in the late 1970s to early 1980s (for the Gailstyn-Sutton brand), it measures 17" in length, 3.25" in width, 2" in height, and holds a baguette or long roll that measures up to 2.25" in width.
The knife measures 1" in width, 13" in length, and 0.5" in thickness.

It does not appear to have been heavily used, however, there are a couple of knife marks in proximity to the slicing slit. There are no nicks, chips, cracks, fissures, or deep utensil mark, or stains (see photos), and it has four plastic feet attached for stability and to protect surfaces. The vintage knife shows evident signs of past usage and could use proper sharpening, buffing, and polishing. Any wear is commensurate with their age and past usage. less
