“Suzani” derives from the Persian word ""suzan"" for ""needle"" and refers to bright silk embroidered wall hangings and bedspreads that adorned homes of people on festive occasions. Suzanis are practical yet decorative items that took months for 1-2 individuals to make. There are variations in the shade of the silk thread used to embroider this, as is commonly seen in older suzanis that were made for personal use in people’s homes.

While this suzani is in wonderful condition, there are small stains and signs of wear on this suzani, that are expected in items of this age.

- Upon inspection, If you decide not to move forward with the purchase, you or your agent must refuse the item at the time of pickup/delivery from the seller

Cancellations

- Deliveries can take anywhere from 6 to 9 weeks to be delivered.
- Chairish Freight Delivery
- Delivered in a crate, to your front door.
- You will need tools and/or equipment to open the crate.

- Chairish Freight deliveries can take anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks.

- Chairish In-Home Delivery
