Designed and manufactured at the height of The Gilded Age it is ornate and rich looking. True to the period it is meant to show off the wealth and economic boom of the time. A symbol of status and power, shoehorns were often given and used by people of means. Close to one hundred and fifty years later it’s now looking for another person “of means” to make it theirs.
