Being offered is an exceptionally large and heavy sterling silver (tea)tray by Atkin Brothers of Sheffield, England hallmarked 1903.
It has a gadroon design around the rim intercepted by a shell design on each side and corner. The entire inside is etched with a large cartouche in the center for a monogram. The handles are scalloped with that same shell design in the center. Designed and manufactured during the reign of King Edward VII, heir to Queen Victoria. This Edwardian sterling silver tray is one hundred and twenty years old and has been refurbished to its original glorious condition. All the etching is crisp and not faded and we guarantee you will be thrilled with your purchase!
