This Really is an Exceptionally Nice Looking Antique American Country Primitive Fireside Stool - Footstool. Circa Very Late 19th Century. It is Completely Hand Made out of Solid Indigenous North American Chestnut Wood ( Heavy Hardwood - Weighs Well Over 4 Pounds ). Note the Exposed Leg Posts Joints on the Top of the Stool Adding to its Charming Display. It Still Retains its Original Green and Mustard Yellow Pinstriped Honest Aged and Weathered Painted Surfaces Giving it that Wonderful Rustic Color & Patina that Cannot be Duplicated. It is in Strong - Sturdy - Usable Condition. I purchased this piece on one of my Recent Picking Adventures in the Central Massachusetts Region.
It Measures Overall 6 3/4 inches Tall x 14 inches Long x 9 1/2 inches Wide
