Postmodern Italian Molto + Di fun plaid upholstery with contrasting red leather sofa by Tittina Ammannati & Vitelli Giampiero for I4 Mariani. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so each have signs of use and wear. We have detailed a couple of nicks to cushions. Please see photos and zoom in for details. This pair of postmodern Italian Molto + Di maroon leather sofa designed by Italian designer duo Tittina Ammannati & Vitelli Giampiero for I4 Mariani. It is comprised of a fun black with primary colors in a plaid pattern (possible second generation) with contrasting red leather contoured frame and holds two stacked curved cylinder-shaped bolster pillows, back pillow and contoured wedge side or arm cushion covered in red leather standing on large black legs. The cushions are held in place with red leather straps with clasps. Memphis style is sure to make a serious statement in your living, family, game or sitting room.
I4 Mariani was established by four brothers Biagio, Tarcisio, Umberto, and Emilio in 1957, and it continues to be a family operated company. The 4 founding fathers are all still active in the Company and are assisted by their 8 daughters and sons; this unique family environment is also supported by important international designers such as Tittina Ammannati & Vitelli Giampiero, Luca Scacchetti, Denis Santachiara, Mauro Lipparini, and The Rockwell Group to name a few.
