Available for sale this lovely Vintage impressionist abstract oil landscape painting by listed Germany artist WILLI BAUER. C,1960's. Depicts a tranquil Lakeside landscape scene, rich in texture and detail. The artist uses a muted palette giving this piece wonderful depth and mood. The use of perspective with the lake in the foreground and a deep sky in the background adds complexity to this charming scene that you will never grow tired of in your home. Signed on the lower right side. Created with oils on stretcher canvas. It has been mounted in a gold wooden frame with a hanging wire attached to the reverse side.

Biography
German artist Willi Bauer, born 1923, studied at Staedel College of Fine Art in Frankfurt. Willi Bauer's oil paintings show the skill and perfectionism he strives for in his Impressionist-style work. Artist Willi Bauer showcases natural landscapes in the moment from quiet snow-covered farms to crisp spring days in the city. He uses a mix of Expressionist and Impressionist techniques to give his paintings a realistic feeling.
