This is an artistic and wonderfully crafted: custom-made Murano and forged metal floor lamp by Jeanne-Marie Maussaud for Poltrona Frau, … Read more This is an artistic and wonderfully crafted: custom-made Murano and forged metal floor lamp by Jeanne-Marie Maussaud for Poltrona Frau, a "To the Trade," Industry Representative Showroom, which showcases designer's specific collections, exclusively introduced for the industries' trade showroom. The floor lamp is called the, "Fede." Master Murano glass blower; Carlo Moretti incorporated single egg-shaped, hand-blown and uniformed, while incorporating these soft, transparent drops, of large bubbles or globules, into a tiered yet serene Murano Floor lamp, The delicacy of the Murano glass is encircling the upper stem, while descending downwards toward's the bronze base, encapsulated within the frame, with such pristine delicacy, 3/4 of the way down, while the middle is suspended, or captured within a sturdy square base. At juncture was Represented via the Holly Hunt Showrooms.

Each Murano globule as last image indicates Maker's mark, as well as close up of plastic liners within each hand blown glass egg-shapes, to not cause friction from one piece to the other, These also may be turned, should one want to change the look of the central portion of the floor lamp. The two differing materials, offset the other, like man vs woman, the softness of the Murano vs. the hard linear qualities of bronze frame. In itself, this is a transformative nod towards the, Abstract, yet imbue organic, modern, with a contemporary tendency, to combine, the combination of the forged industrial, while the softness and fragility of a Modern day version of an Art Deco look, with the delicacy the Murano glass is encircling the upper stem.
