This wonderfully iconic designer, is best known … Read more Vintage; C.1950's' Italian Aldo Tura Goatskin-Wrapped, with Brass details, Dry Bar, Bar Cart. This wonderfully iconic designer, is best known for wrapping bar carts, bar essentials, ice buckets, tables and furniture in a variety of stained goatskin, as this bar cart is a buttercream quasi almond coloration, to which are wrapped over mahogany wood, then a high gloss or shellac or epoxy veneer is applied to protect the surface of the goatskin, which showcases the natural grain of each wrapped goatskin, each unique and onto it's own, but within a interior design domain, with exclusivity within one's home or office, an entree into entertaining while having a cocktail bar, ready to wheel itself to and fro to service a soiree, an intimate dinner for a group, or everyday entertaining, to each, his/her own, but also take pride of place in a Family or living room, dining room, a solarium, den or library, and better yet, think, "Mad Men," and the business that is and was created around cocktail hr, and it's variances. Style and panache await. A wonderful gift giving idea, with iconic pedigree, from an era which saw the most diverse industrial and interior/furniture design, with a varying of experimentation, during the process and production, while also distinctly individualized, set apart a designer within a creative element, by the typography of such crafted pieces, with and partial to, the material utilized in the production of such selective pieces, but by far functionality of the pieces hosted a wide expanse within the world of deign, and amongst purveyors of such pieces.
