Rare vintage Tiffany & Co necklace designed by Paloma Picasso, crafted in 18 karat yellow gold (circa 1981).

Dating to 1981 the bold open link necklace is designed by Paloma Picasso for Tiffany & Co, the year after she started her design work at Tiffany (and continues today). Paloma Picasso has a love of bold statement jewelry, and this necklace is no exception. It's always great to come across the early work of a designer, with the necklace highlighting her love of bold jewelry, and so very 80s. A rare, wearable necklace and great collector piece. The matching bracelet is also available for sale. At 46.3 grams the necklace has a nice heft to the touch.

The necklace is in good condition and was lightly cleaned and polished.
