'Cobalt Hills and Fields' is an aerial view of an imagined Southwestern USA landscape. The composition began with reference to several photos taken and color-noted sketches of various locations - primarily in central and northern Arizona. The vertical orientation and high horizon place an emphasis on the pastel palette and design that are unique to this impressionist's view of the landscape. It is painted with oil on a large 40"x30" heavy weight stretched canvas.
The painting is framed as shown in a free gallery-style painted wood frame originally made for the painting's protection and my own gallery display. Certificate of Authenticity will be included with shipment. It is signed on reverse side and will be signed on front prior to shipping.
