Created in the manner of designer Riccardo … Read more Beautiful vintage Murano hand blown Sommerso double fish aquarium Italian art glass sculpture. Created in the manner of designer Riccardo Licata and the Avem company. One fish has a cobalt blue and red fins design, and the other has a green and yellow stripes with red fins design. The fish are sandwiched in glass layers, along with pieces of color representing algae in aqua, amber and red. The aquarium sits on a thick oval glass base with ribbed design. There is an original "Genuine Venetian Glass - Made In Murano - Italy" generic label underneath. Would make a great display piece on any desk, shelf or side table. Mid-century era. Measures 6 1/8" tall x 5 3/4" long x 2 5/8" wide.
