A massive nearly 10 foot tall by 5.5 foot wide antique Dutch ecclesiastical cross.
Hand-crafted in the Netherlands in the 19th century, originally mounted on a church as a crucifix, very large Celtic cross form, featuring the original red paint finish with beautifully aged patina, hand-painted with the words HEL (hell), OORDEEL (judgement), DOOD (dead), HEMEL (heaven), the back mounted with a heavy-duty metal hanging bracket.

Good original unrestored antique condition with nicely aged warm rustic heavily worn distressed weathered patina. Strong, sturdy, stable, structurally sound. No longer mounted with Jesus figure. Overall a wonderful example
