The densely placed cones are accented in yellow and cerulean blue. This SE Persian tribal scatter has an ivory border with tiny botehs and unusual corner squares. Early Afshar rugs display large, well-separated semi-curvilinear botehs, but more recent pieces, as here, compress, geometry and pack them in. A whole new effect emerges. Good condition, medium weave. See less
