Two perky peacocks, octagons, rosettes and hooked diamonds add to the informality of the drawing. The borders comprise an outer ivory hooked "dragon vine", a main red frame with yellow, orange-red. pale, light and royal blue, and teal multiply split leaves, and an inner undulating angular vine with profile florets.
