There are no nicks or cracks in the mirror. There are eight drawers. Many of the drawers are very deep so much more can fit into the dresser. The pictures show how the drawers are configured. It features hardwood construction, with its original blonde/pale cream, gloss finish. There are dovetail drawers with brass accented hardware. The hardwood may be mahogany.This is a wonderful solid piece of furniture. See less
