I was in San Francisco on the outskirts of China Town when I spotted this stunning Wood Chinese Birdcage in an up-scale antique shop. The antiquities in this shop were like none I've ever seen before - just gorgeous - each piece. Honestly, I couldn't afford any of them! But, I did spot this Captivating Chinese Birdcage in the front window, and it was one of those "I've got to have it moments," so I purchased it and had it sent to my then home in Connecticut.

This lovely Birdcage is impeccably detailed, in mint condition, and never used, except for decorative purposes. It is, however, designed to house your precious small avian friends, should you wish to do so. The top hook comes with a porcelain bead coupled with a lovely detailed design. The Birdcage is dome shaped and has a 27" link chain if you wish to suspend it. To open the Birdcage there are 2 Removable Chopsticks, which I thought was such a charming detail of the design. Inside the Birdcage are 5 beautiful, Hand-Painted Chinoiserie Vessels for seeds, food and water. In addition there are 2 Hanging Decorative Rings and a Single Perch.

Height with Hook is 30". Height with Hook and Link Chain is 57". The Width is 14" and the Depth is 13.5".
