Born in rural France around the turn of the late 19th / early 20th century, hand-crafted by the farmer who used it, likely having no formal carpentry training, making this a one-of-a-kind table. Featuring primitive hand-crafted solid pine construction with natural live edge, having a plank top with age related warping and splits, rising on unusual shaped thick chunky legs.

Condition:
A wonderful example of wabi-sabi, perfectly imperfect, finding beauty in the numerous flaws and imperfections. Strong, sturdy, stable, structurally sound, retaining original antique character and rustic charm throughout, nicely aged dark warm heavily worn distressed patina over the whole. The natural variations of live edge boards make for a top that is not smooth or level. Age appropriate wear, warping, splits, and losses consistent with age and indicative of industrial farm use.
