Born in rural France around the turn of the late 19th / early 20th century, hand-crafted by a farmer with likely no formal carpentry training, rustic hand-crafted solid pine construction with natural live edge and heavy-duty metal lag bolts, wide three plank top, rising on stretcher-joined H form legs.

As warm and attractive as it is useful, having the ideal size and proportions for a variety of different uses, including as a country cabin dining table, farmhouse kitchen island, rustic lodge library table, workbench or breakfast bar, to name just a few.

Condition:
Perfectly imperfect, retaining original antique character and rustic charm throughout, nicely aged warm dark distressed patina over the whole.
